Akanksha Ranjan, a 2013-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the Jharkhand cadre, has been appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Health & Family Welfare. Her appointment is for a period of four years from the date of assumption of charge or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
This assignment is part of the government’s ongoing efforts to strengthen administrative capacity in the health sector.
