Aliawati Longkumer (YOA: 2008), currently serving as the Charge d’affaires a.i. at the Embassy of India in Asuncion, Paraguay, has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (North Korea).
Her appointment reflects India’s ongoing commitment to diplomatic engagement in the region. She is expected to take up the assignment shortly.
