Aranksha Yadav (IPS: 2023: GJ) has been transferred from the Gujarat cadre to the Maharashtra cadre. The change has been made on the grounds of her marriage to Anmol Mittal (IPS: 2021), who is currently serving in the Maharashtra cadre.
Such inter-cadre transfers are permitted under existing service rules in cases of inter-cadre marriage between All India Services officers.
