Amit Yadav (IAS: 1991: AGMUT), currently serving as Secretary, Department of Social Justice & Empowerment, has been assigned additional charge of the post of Secretary, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan).
The appointment is effective from 23rd June 2025 to 2nd July 2025, during the period when the current Secretary, Rajesh Aggarwal (IAS: 1989: MH), is on leave.
This temporary assignment ensures continuity in leadership and smooth functioning of the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities during Aggarwal’s absence.
