Anand Bantia, an Indian Railway Accounts Service (IRAS) officer of the 2012 batch, has been appointed as Integrated Financial Advisor (IFA) at the Director level in the Sashastra Seema Bal under the Ministry of Home Affairs.
The appointment has been made under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of five years. In this role, he will be responsible for financial planning, budgeting, and advisory functions within the SSB, ensuring efficient utilization of resources and financial discipline.
The Sashastra Seema Bal is one of India’s Central Armed Police Forces tasked with guarding the country’s borders with Nepal and Bhutan, and plays a crucial role in maintaining internal security.
Anand Bantia’s appointment is expected to strengthen financial management and oversight within the force, contributing to more streamlined operations and effective implementation of policies under the Ministry of Home Affairs.
