Surabhi Malik, an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the 2012 batch from the Punjab cadre, has been appointed as Director in the Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs. The appointment has been made for a tenure of five years.

Known for her administrative efficiency and experience, Surabhi Malik has served in various important positions in the Punjab cadre. Her work has been associated with effective governance and handling key administrative responsibilities.

Her appointment is expected to strengthen the functioning of the Ministry, particularly in areas related to urban development, housing projects, and flagship initiatives like Smart Cities Mission and other infrastructure programs.
