Anant Kumar, an Indian Railways Service of Mechanical Engineers (IRSME) officer of the 2004 batch, has been appointed as the Director General (DG) of the National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA), New Delhi. This appointment is at the Director level under the Ministry of Sports. Kumar, who is currently serving as Director in the Ministry of Sports, brings significant expertise to his new role. As DG of NADA, he will play a crucial role in overseeing anti-doping efforts and ensuring clean sports practices across the country, further strengthening India’s commitment to promoting fair play in sports.
