New Delhi: Anton Alphonse, IPS officer of the AGMUT cadre (2008 batch), who is presently posted as Director in the Cabinet Secretariat, has been granted proforma promotion to the rank of Inspector General in the cadre.
The promotion has been approved by the competent authority, and the necessary orders have been issued.
