Ms. Chandan Chowdhary (IPS: 2010: AGMUT) and Rajendra Prasad Meena (IPS: 2010: AGMUT) have been named Deputy Director Generals at the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS). Their appointments, confirmed by the Ministry of Home Affairs with the Ministry of Civil Aviation’s approval, are effective for up to five years or until an earlier date as specified. The BCAS, operating under the Ministry of Civil Aviation, is responsible for setting and enforcing security standards for civil aviation at airports across India.
