The Government of India has approved several appointments across ministries and census operations:
Nitish Suri (ITradeS: 2011) has been appointed as Director, Department of Higher Education, for a period of five years.
Ravi Dhawan (IAS: 2011: AGMUT) has been appointed as Director, Ministry of Power, for a period of five years.
Cheshta Yadav (IAS: 2014: AGMUT) has been given additional charge as Director of Census Operations/Director of Citizen Registration (Deputy Secretary level), Goa, up to 31.12.2025.
Gaurav Singh Rajawat (IAS: 2011: AGMUT) has been given additional charge as Director of Census Operations/Director of Citizen Registration (Director level), Lakshadweep, up to 31.12.2025.
Sufiyah Faruqui Wali (IAS: 2009: MP) has been appointed as Director of Census Operations/Director of Citizen Registration, Madhya Pradesh, with effect from 01.10.2025 up to 31.12.2025.
Amit Sharma (IAS: 2012: AGMUT) has been given additional charge as Director of Census Operations/Director of Citizen Registration, Mizoram (Deputy Secretary level), up to 31.12.2025.
Purva Garg (IAS: 2015: AGMUT) has been given additional charge as Director of Census Operations/Director of Citizen Registration (Deputy Secretary level), Andaman & Nicobar Islands, up to 31.12.2025.
Sujal Jayantibhai Mayatra (IAS: 2011: GJ) has been appointed as Director of Census Operations/Director of Citizen Registration, Gujarat, up to 31.12.2025.
Kartikeya Goel (IAS: 2010: CH) has been appointed as Director of Census Operations/Director of Citizen Registration, Chhattisgarh, up to 31.12.2025.
