In a significant administrative move, the Bihar government has reallocated 14 senior IPS officers to new positions:
Shaleen has been appointed as the Inspector General (IG) of the Bihar Special Armed Police (BSAP).
Rakesh Rathi is the new IG of Training.
Rajesh Kumar will take over as IG of the Mithila Region.
Vinay Kumar has been assigned as the IG of Headquarters.
Shivdeep Wamanrao is the new IG of the Purnia Range.
Vikas Kumar has been appointed as Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of the Begusarai Range.
Babu Ram will serve as DIG of the Tirhut Range.
Nilesh Kumar is the new DIG of the Saran Range.
Rashid Zaman has been designated as DIG (Administration) in Patna.
Vijay Prasad will assume the role of Additional Inspector General of Police (AIGP) of Training.
Daya Shankar is appointed as Superintendent of Police (SP) of the Emergency Response Support System (ERSS) in Patna.
Pankaj Kumar Raj has been named SP-cum-Assistant Director of Civil Security.
Deepak Baranwal will serve as DIGP (Security) in the Special Branch, Patna.
