Brindha Boopathy (IRS C&IT: 2015) has been appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR), under the Department of Commerce, for a tenure of four years.
The appointment has been made by downgrading one of the vacant posts of Additional Director General of Foreign Trade (ADGFT) within DGTR as a one-time measure.
This move aims to strengthen the functioning of DGTR by optimizing the utilization of available resources and addressing staffing requirements effectively.
