Four IAS officers of 2007 batch have been empanelled for holding Joint Secretary and equivalent posts in the Government of India. The officers include: Shailesh Kumar Chourasia of Manipur; G Latha of Tamil Nadu; Sheetal Verma of Uttar Pradesh cadre and C Murugan of West Bengal cadre.

New Delhi : A total 68 IAS officers of 2007 and 2008 batches of various cadres have been empanelled to hold Joint Secretary/Joint Secretary equivalent posts at the Centre. The names of these officers are as follows:
Ms Annies Kanmani Joy has been designated as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Economic Affairs, Delhi. She is a 2012 batch IAS officer of Kerala cadre.
Madur Sreedhar Reddy has been elevated to the grade of Chief Commissioner of Customs & Indirect Taxes. He is an IRS-Custom officer.
Sanjay Rathi has been elevated to the grade of Chief Commissioner of Customs & Indirect Taxes. He is an IRS-Customs officer.
Ms Apoorva Basur IAS (Maharashtra 2022) has been posted as Asst Secretary – Textiles, Government of India for a period of 8 weeks from 20.05.2024 to 12.07.2024.
