New Delhi (15.03.2024): The New Delhi establishment on Friday empanelled 47 IPS officers for holding Inspector General (IG)/IG Equivalent level posts at the Centre. Out of 47 officers, two each belong to 2003 and 2004 batches while rest are from the 2005 batch. The list of officers empanelled goes as follows:

Pankaj Kumar has been empanelled for holding Joint Secretary or equivalent posts in the Government of India. He is a 1991 batch ITS officer.
The tenure of Manoj Kumar Kejriwal as Secretary, National Commission for Minority Educational Institutions (NCMEI) has been extended for a period of one year with effect from February 28, 2024. He is a CSS officer.

Two IPS officers have been shifted in Chhattisgarh. Yashpal Singh has been appointed as SP, Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki, while Mrs Ratna Singh will take over as AIGP, Administration, PHQ, Nava Raipur.
