New Delhi: The Centre has appointed three Senior Advocates as Additional Solicitors General (ASGs) for India to represent the Union government before the Supreme Court of India. The appointments have been approved by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) and were formally notified by the Union Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions through the Department of Personnel & Training.
Among those appointed is Kanakamedala Ravindra Kumar, who earlier served as a Rajya Sabha member as a Telugu Desam Party (TDP) nominee from 2018 to 2024.
The newly appointed Additional Solicitors General are:
