Dr Deependra Singh, CMD of IREL (India) Ltd, formerly known as Indian Rare Earths Limited, engaged in deliberations with Atul Bhatt, the CMD of Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL) during an interactive session at the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant. Dr Deependra Singh evinced keen interest in RINL’s special steel products. Recognizing the significance of innovation in the steel sector, Dr Singh enquired about RINL’s specialized offerings and expressed interest in exploring avenues for their application. In a forward-looking approach, he suggested the incorporation of rare materials into steel production processes to unlock advanced functionalities and enhance performance.
