By NSB.News Desk

Dabur India has elevated Mohit Malhotra to the position of Global Chief Executive Officer, the company said in a stock exchange filing on Tuesday.

In its filing, the company stated that the Board of Directors, through approval granted on February 17, 2026, redesignated Mr. Mohit Malhotra, Whole-Time Director & Chief Executive Officer, as Whole-Time Director & Global Chief Executive Officer, with effect from February 17, 2026.

Malhotra, who earlier served as Group CEO and is a Whole-Time Director on the Board, has assumed the new global role immediately.

Sharper Global Focus

The elevation signals a stronger global thrust for the FMCG major as it aims to further enhance its international strategy while consolidating its robust India business.

Professional Background

A management graduate from the Savitribai Phule Pune University (formerly University of Pune), Malhotra also holds an Executive Master’s in International Business from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, New Delhi.

He joined Dabur as a Management Trainee in 1994 and has since held multiple leadership roles across marketing and sales functions.

Leadership Journey at Dabur

Over the years, Malhotra has served as CEO of Dabur International (Dubai-based) before taking charge as CEO – India Business and later becoming CEO of the company in April 2019.

Under his leadership, Dabur expanded its global footprint and strengthened its position as a transnational consumer goods company with presence in more than 100 countries.

Earlier, as Business Head for the MENA region and Egypt, he was responsible for topline and bottomline performance, brand investment planning, profitability management, and quarterly sales reviews with country managers and key distributors.

New CEO for India Business

In a related development, Dabur has appointed industry veteran Herjit S. Bhalla as Chief Executive Officer of its India business, effective April 15, 2026. Bhalla will report to Malhotra as part of a senior leadership restructuring aimed at sharpening domestic execution.

The leadership changes underline Dabur’s dual focus on strengthening its global presence while reinforcing its core India operations.
