The Public Enterprise Selection Board (PESB) on Monday selected Dr. Anitha Thampi for the position of Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) of HLL Lifecare Limited, a Schedule ‘B’ Central Public Sector Undertaking (PSU). Dr. Thampi was one of 12 candidates interviewed for the prestigious role. Currently, she serves as the Director (Technical & Operations) at HLL Lifecare Limited, and also holds the additional responsibilities of Chairman & Managing Director and Director (Finance).
Subject to receiving the necessary clearances and approval from the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC), Dr. Thampi will assume the role of CMD at HLL Lifecare Limited. The position has remained vacant until now. Dr. Thampi’s appointment is expected to bring leadership stability to the company, which is involved in the production and marketing of health and medical products.
