Dr. Pankaj Kumar, an officer from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), has been appointed as Senior Adviser to the Executive Director (India) at the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Washington DC. His tenure will be for a period of three years.
The appointment is part of India’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its representation at key international financial institutions. As Senior Adviser, Dr. Kumar will assist in policy discussions, coordination, and decision-making processes related to India’s interests at the IMF.
