The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change has announced the extension of Dr. Sunil Sharma’s deputation tenure as Additional Inspector General of Forests (AIGF). Dr. Sharma, an Indian Forest Service (IFoS) officer from the 2012 batch of the Maharashtra cadre, will continue in his role until January 14, 2027, a two-year extension beyond his previous tenure ending on January 14, 2025.
