The tenure of Dr. Vaidya Rajeshwari Singh, currently serving as Consultant in Digital Health and Innovation (DHI) at the World Health Organization (WHO), has been extended for a further period of one year. Her international assignment will now continue from 01 July 2025 to 30 June 2026, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Dr. Singh is a Research Officer (Ayurveda) with the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS), an autonomous body under the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India.
Her extended role at WHO highlights the growing global importance of digital health strategies and innovations, and underlines India’s contributions to integrating traditional systems like Ayurveda within the global health framework.
