Neeraj Mittal (IAS: 1992: TN), currently serving as Secretary, Department of Telecommunications, has been entrusted with the additional charge of Secretary, Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER). This assignment is effective from 20th July to 24th July 2025, during the leave period of Chanchal Kumar (IAS: 1992: BH).
The temporary charge has been approved to ensure continuity in the administrative functioning of the Ministry of DoNER in the absence of the regular incumbent.
