By NSB.News

New Delhi: A new CCTV video has surfaced in connection with the Sahil Dhaneshra road accident case in Dwarka. The footage is said to be from immediately after the incident. In the video, the minor accused can be seen driving the SUV at high speed. It was this SUV that fatally hit 23-year-old Sahil.

The footage shows that after causing the accident, the accused initially drove ahead and then stopped the vehicle. He stepped out to inspect the damage to his car before leaving it there and returning to the accident spot. He appeared to assess the extent of damage and check what had happened at the scene.

Locals Tried to Stop the Accused

The CCTV video further shows that once the accused realized the seriousness of the accident, he attempted to flee. A local person is seen trying to stop him, but as the situation escalated, the accused fled the scene along with his sister. In another clip, both are seen escaping in a car.

Police have taken the new footage into consideration and are currently investigating the matter.

The incident took place on February 3 at around 11:57 a.m., when a speeding Scorpio SUV hit Sahil, who was riding a motorcycle. He died on the spot due to the impact. At the time of the accident, the SUV was being driven by a minor, and his sister was also in the vehicle. It is reported that they had left home to make a social media reel. After hitting Sahil, the Scorpio also collided with a cab.

Further legal proceedings in the case are underway.
