In continuation of the Ministry’s order No. A-35018/04/2021-Adm.I dated 12.07.2022, the tenure of Shri Ghanshyam Prasad as Chairperson of the Central Electricity Authority (CEA) has been extended with effect from 29.05.2025, until his date of superannuation on 31.05.2027, or until further orders, whichever occurs earlier.
This decision has been issued with the approval of the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC), as conveyed in the Department of Personnel and Training’s communication No. 20/4/2022-EO(SM.II) dated 22.02.2025.
