Shankar Lal Kumawat (IAS: 2010: Tamil Nadu cadre) has been empanelled for holding the post of Joint Secretary or an equivalent position in the Government of India. The empanelment has been approved as part of the central government’s process of selecting senior bureaucrats for key positions in various ministries and departments.

Kumawat has served in several important administrative roles in the Tamil Nadu cadre and is known for his experience in governance and policy implementation. With this empanelment, he becomes eligible for appointment to Joint Secretary-level posts in different ministries or departments of the central government, depending on administrative requirements.
