IAS officer Fating Rahul Haridas of the Madhya Pradesh cadre has been appointed as Private Secretary to Union Minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh in the Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying.
He will hold the additional responsibility alongside his present assignment as Private Secretary to the same minister in the Ministry of Panchayati Raj. The appointment has been approved for a tenure up to April 19, 2031.
Rajiv Ranjan Singh currently handles the portfolios of Panchayati Raj as well as Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying in the Union Government. The appointment of Haridas is expected to strengthen coordination between the ministries and support administrative functioning at the ministerial level.
