Gangadhar Panda, a 1993-batch officer of the Indian Revenue Service (Income Tax), currently serving as Additional Director General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), has been prematurely repatriated to his parent cadre.
The repatriation has been approved by the competent authority, and Panda is expected to resume responsibilities within the Income Tax department. No official reason has been cited for the early return.
