Andhra Pradesh High Court issued notices to special chief secretary of the state Poonam Malakondaiah (IAS: 1988: AP) in a case pertaining to alleged irregularities in the formation of AP MedTech Zone at Visakhapatnam and misappropriation of funds belonging to National Health Mission.
The HC issued notices to AP Medtech zone chief executive officer Jitender Kumar Sharma, chief secretary of Andhra Pradesh, medical and health department and vigilance and enforcement department besides Poonam Malakondaiah.
The HC bench asked Malakondaiah and others to file their counter affidavits within three weeks and posted the case to a subsequent date three weeks later.
