Himanshu Kaushik, an officer of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) from the 2018 batch of Andhra Pradesh cadre, has been appointed as Additional Private Secretary to the Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, B L Verma. The appointment is on deputation/co-terminus basis, aligning with the tenure of the Minister of State. Himanshu Kaushik’s role will involve providing key administrative support and assisting in the minister’s work to advance social justice initiatives and empower marginalized communities in India.
