New Delhi : The Housing and Urban Development Corporation Ltd (HUDCO), a Navratna CPSE under the Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, took a significant step towards sustainable development by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Surat Integrated Transportation Development Corporation Limited (SITCO).
The MoU was executed on May 09, 2024 in New Delhi at HUDCO Bhawan by Sanjay Kulshrestha (CMD, HUDCO) and Manoj Garg (MD, SITCO) in the presence of senior officials from Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA) and HUDCO with the aim of reinforcing cooperation and collaboration to leverage respective strengths for the construction and development of Surat Multi-Modal Transportation Hub on land allocated by the Ministry of Railways and the Government of Gujarat. Additionally, the potential for consultancy, capacity building and other technical assistance from HUDCO will also be explored.
