Saumya Pandey (IAS: 2016: UP) has been conferred with the Best Officer’s Award at the prestigious Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA). The award was presented by Union Minister for Agriculture, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, in a special ceremony held at the academy.
In addition to the top honour, Saumya Pandey also received accolades for the Best Presentation and Best Case Study, recognizing her exemplary performance during training modules and administrative exercises.
A 2016 batch IAS officer from the Uttar Pradesh cadre, Saumya Pandey had secured an impressive All India Rank 4 in the UPSC Civil Services Examination. She is currently serving as the Additional Labour Commissioner in Kanpur, where she has been actively involved in labour welfare and policy implementation.
