Cadre of IPS Officer P D Nitya Changed to Rajasthan on Grounds of Marriage

Posted on June 12, 2025June 12, 2025 By northsouthblock No Comments on Cadre of IPS Officer P D Nitya Changed to Rajasthan on Grounds of Marriage

By NSB.News

P D Nitya (IPS: 2016: AGMUT) has been transferred from the AGMUT cadre to the Rajasthan cadre, following her marriage to Pankaj Yadav (IPS: 2022: RJ). The change has been approved under the inter-cadre transfer policy applicable to All India Services officers on the grounds of marriage.

P D Nitya, an officer of the 2016 batch, was originally allotted the AGMUT cadre (Arunachal Pradesh-Goa-Mizoram and Union Territories). With this cadre change, she will now serve in the Rajasthan cadre, aligning with her spouse’s current posting.

The order regarding this inter-cadre transfer was issued by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC), in line with established service rules that allow for such transfers in cases where both spouses are serving officers of the All India Services.

This cadre change facilitates family unification and is a routine administrative provision aimed at supporting personal and professional balance for officers serving the nation.
