The Tamil Nadu government has recently reshuffled several Indian Forest Service (IFoS) officers with new postings. Vijendra Singh Malik has been appointed as the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF) and Member Secretary of the Tamil Nadu Biodiversity Board in Chennai. Rakesh Kumar Dogra has taken over as the new PCCF and Chief Wildlife Warden of the state, while S. Ramasubramanian has been assigned the role of Additional PCCF (Protection, Vigilance, and Forest Wildlife Crime Bureau).
In addition to these key appointments, several other officers have been reassigned to different positions. Nihar Ranjan has been shifted to serve as the Dean of the Forest College and Research Institute in Mettupalayam. N. Satheesh has been appointed as the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of the Arasu Rubber Corporation Ltd. in Nagercoil. Mrs. K. Geethanjali will oversee the TN Afforestation Project as Chief Conservator of Forests (CCF), while A. S. Marimathu has been named Conservator of Forests for the Vellore Circle in Vellore. D. Venkatesh has been moved to the role of Conservator of Forests and Field Director of the Anamalai Tiger Reserve, and P. Muhammed Shabad will join as the Deputy Conservator of Forests (Wildlife).
