Jafar Malik (IAS: 2013: KL) has been appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DAJGUA) under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, for a tenure lasting until 2nd September 2028. This appointment follows the curtailing of his tenure as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Commerce. Malik’s central deputation tenure will commence on 3rd September 2024.
