Jinesh Mohan, an officer of the Indian Railway Stores Service (IRSS) from the 2014 batch, has been appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Biotechnology. The appointment is on a lateral shift basis and will be for a period of four years from the date of assumption of charge or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
This move is part of the Government of India’s ongoing efforts to strengthen leadership across key departments with experienced officers from various services.
