K B Singh, currently serving as the Inspector General of Forests (IGF), has been assigned the additional responsibility of Joint Chief Executive Officer (CEO), National CAMPA (Compensatory Afforestation Management and Planning Authority). This new role comes in addition to his existing assignments in the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change.
K B Singh is a 1995-batch Indian Forest Service (IFoS) officer of the AGMUT cadre. His appointment to the National CAMPA is expected to further enhance efforts in afforestation, forest conservation, and climate change initiatives across India.
