The Government of India has issued a series of notifications regarding appointments, tenure extensions, and cadre changes across various departments and services.
Major Appointments
Aryaka Akhoury (IAS: 2013, Uttar Pradesh) has been appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Personnel and Training, Delhi, for a period of four years under the Central Staffing Scheme.
Kranthi Kumar Pati (IAS: 2015, Tamil Nadu) has been appointed as Deputy Director (Deputy Secretary level) at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie, for four years.
Ganga Ram Punia (IPS: 2013, Haryana) has been inducted as Superintendent of Police (SP) in the Central Bureau of Investigation for a tenure of five years.
Tenure Extensions
Esha Srivastava, Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, has been granted a one-month extension beyond March 19, 2026.
Parameswaran Iyer, Executive Director at the World Bank Headquarters in Washington, DC, has received a three-month extension.
Other Key Decisions
Apparao Veerelli, CEO of the Development and Welfare Board for Denotified Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Communities, has been prematurely repatriated to his parent cadre on personal grounds.
CVO (Chief Vigilance Officer) Appointments
Sanjeev Kumar has been appointed as CVO of the Geological Survey of India, Kolkata, for three years.
Ajay Kumar has been appointed as CVO of the National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India, Delhi, for three years.
Vivek Jain has been appointed as CVO of the India Tourism Development Corporation, Delhi, for three years.
Empanelment
Yogesh Gupta (Kerala cadre) has been empanelled for holding Director General (DG) equivalent posts at the Centre.
