New Delhi: The government on Wednesday issued a set of important notifications regarding appointments and cadre movements in the senior bureaucracy.
Rohit Anand, who was serving as Director in the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances, has been prematurely repatriated to his parent cadre. The move has been made to enable him to avail the benefit of promotion in his cadre.
In another key development, Rudrendra Tandon has been appointed as Secretary (East) in the Ministry of External Affairs. He will take over the role from Periasamy Kumaran.
These decisions are part of routine administrative reshuffles aimed at ensuring efficiency and continuity in governance at senior levels.
