Lal Jha, a 2012-batch officer of the Indian Ordnance Factory Service (IOFS), has been appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Office of the Controller General of Patents, Designs and Trade Marks (CGPDTM). His appointment is for a period of four years from the date of assumption of charge or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
This move is part of the ongoing administrative reshuffle to strengthen intellectual property governance and policy execution in the country.
