M Muthukumar, a 2008-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the Odisha cadre, has been appointed as Director (Finance) at the Joint Secretary level in Bharatiya Nabhikiya Vidyut Nigam Limited (BHAVINI), Kalpakkam. The appointment is under the Department of Atomic Energy.
Muthukumar’s tenure in the post will be for an overall period of five years, ending on June 23, 2027. His new role places him at the helm of financial operations at BHAVINI, which is responsible for fast breeder nuclear power projects in India.
