New Delhi: The Government has appointed Mukul Mohan and Abhinandan Kumar Mishra as Joint Advisors in the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), functioning under the Ministry of Home Affairs.
Mukul Mohan, a 2007-batch Indian Railway Stores Service (IRSS) officer, has been appointed as Joint Advisor (Mitigation Project and Procurement). Meanwhile, Abhinandan Kumar Mishra, a 2012-batch Indian Defence Service of Engineers (IDSE) officer, will serve as Joint Advisor (Mitigation Project).
Both officers have been recommended for Central deputation by their respective parent departments—the Ministry of Railways and the Department of Defence. Their appointments will be for a tenure of five years from the date they assume charge or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
The officers have been directed to be relieved of their current assignments immediately so they can take up their new roles at NDMA in New Delhi.
