NBCC (India) Limited marked the beginning of the 55th Safety Week 2026 with a pledge-taking ceremony aimed at strengthening awareness about workplace safety and reinforcing the importance of maintaining strict safety standards at all offices and project locations.
On the occasion, Dr. K. P. Mahadevaswamy, Chairman and Managing Director of NBCC, administered the Safety Pledge to employees and encouraged them to consistently follow the highest safety standards at all work sites and offices.
The ceremony was attended by Anjeev Kumar Jain, Director (Finance), Ritu Pande, Chief Vigilance Officer, along with other senior officials of the company.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Mahadevaswamy emphasized that although Safety Week is observed to spread awareness, safety should be practiced every single day. He urged employees to remain alert and strictly follow established safety protocols to ensure a secure and healthy working environment for everyone.
During the programme, safety awareness posters were also released highlighting key workplace safety practices such as avoiding unsafe acts, using appropriate safety equipment, and adhering to prescribed safety guidelines. The initiative aims to reinforce the importance of safety among employees as well as workers at various project sites.
NBCC reiterated that it places the highest priority on safety and remains committed to promoting a culture of responsible and safe work practices across all its operations.
