Four officers of State Forest Service of Meghalaya segment of Assam-Meghalaya Joint Cadre have been promoted to the Indian Forest Service IIFoS). Rimse K Sangma has been elevated against SL of 2019, Kharwkupar Lyngdoh Nonglait against SL of 2021 and Nimanchwa Laloo and Jiswordy Dkhar were promoted against SL of 2022.
Ranchi : Anurag Gupta (IPS: 1990: JH) has been appointed as the officiating DGP of Jharkhand replacing Ajay Kumar Singh (IPS: 1989: JH). Anurag Gupta was earlier serving as the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) cum CID DG. Gupta will serve as the in-charge DGP of Jharkhand.
