The post of Deputy Secretary in the Department of Space, held by Vijayakumar J Jayaraman (IAS: 2011: MP), has been re-designated as Director in the same department, located in Bengaluru. This new designation will be effective for a period up to April 7, 2027, marking a total tenure of five years. Vijayakumar’s central deputation tenure began on April 8, 2022.
