Two IPS officers have been reassigned within the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP). Mukesh Singh has been appointed as Inspector General (Personnel & Vigilance Establishment & Intelligence) at the Directorate General. Meanwhile, Dr. Akun Sabharwal has been transferred to the Headquarters of the North East Frontier (NE Ftr).
