New Delhi : On the seventh anniversary of the 2019 Pulwama terror attack, which claimed the lives of 40 CRPF jawans, the nation paid heartfelt tributes to the fallen heroes and reaffirmed its resolve against terrorism.

The deadly attack in Pulwama had targeted a convoy of the Central Reserve Police Force, shaking the country and prompting a strong security response. Seven years later, security agencies and political leaders highlighted what they described as a transformed and more peaceful Jammu and Kashmir.
The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) stated that it remains firmly committed to eradicating terrorism from the region and honoring the sacrifice of its personnel through continued vigilance and action.
Leaders from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) asserted that terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir is “breathing its last,” crediting sustained counter-terror operations by security forces both within and beyond the Union Territory.
Officials emphasized that over the past seven years, intensified operations and strategic measures have significantly weakened terror networks, paving the way for what they termed a new phase of development and stability in Jammu and Kashmir.
