Punjab Government Transfers Six IAS Officers, Including Four Deputy Commissioners

In a recent administrative reshuffle, the Government of Punjab has transferred and posted six IAS officers, with notable changes among the Deputy Commissioners (DCs).

1. Kulwant Singh (2012 batch) has been appointed as the Deputy Commissioner of Mansa, succeeding Paramvir Singh (2015 batch).
2. Vishesh Sarangal (2013 batch) will take charge as Deputy Commissioner of Moga, replacing Kulwant Singh.
3. Uma Shankar Gupta (2015 batch) is now the Deputy Commissioner of Gurdaspur, succeeding Vishesh Sarangal.
4. Rajesh Tripathi (2016 batch) has been appointed as Deputy Commissioner of Sri Muktsar Sahib, taking over from Harpreet Singh Sudan (2013 batch).

These appointments are part of a broader administrative shake-up aimed at enhancing governance and operational efficiency across the state.
