Rachna Shah (IAS: 1991: KL), currently serving as Secretary, Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), has been given additional charge of two key departments. She will hold the posts of Secretary, Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances (DARPG) and Secretary, Department of Pensions and Pensioners’ Welfare from May 1 to May 9, 2025.
This temporary assignment follows the leave of V Srinivas (IAS: 1989: RJ), who currently heads both departments. Shah’s appointment ensures continuity in administrative functions during his absence.
