The post of Deputy Secretary in the Department of Science & Technology, previously held by Rahul Yadav, an officer of the Indian Ordnance Factories Service (IOFS) of the 2011 batch, has been re-designated as Director in the same ministry. His tenure as Director will last until 20th March 2028, for a total duration of five years.
His central deputation tenure began on 21st March 2023. In this new capacity, he will continue to support and advance the ministry’s scientific and technological initiatives.
