Rajesh Aggarwal (IAS: 1989: MH), currently serving as Secretary, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan), has been given the additional charge of Secretary, Ministry of Minority Affairs.
The additional responsibility will be held by Aggarwal from May 14 to May 23, 2025, during the absence on leave of Chandra Sekhar Kumar (IAS: 1992: OD), the regular incumbent.
Aggarwal, a seasoned IAS officer from the Maharashtra cadre, brings extensive administrative experience to the temporary role, ensuring continuity in the functioning of the Ministry of Minority Affairs during the interim period.
